Major Policy Changes at Two Stores Today!

THIS HAS BEEN A VERY BAD DAY!

Just as the Red Plum will now stop distributing their insert in the Tampa Bay News Papers on Sunday Starting June 1st other changes are also coming starting within the next few days and these changes will effect the way that couponers coupon in this area and other areas as well. The policy of each store is getting stricter and stricter and I would not be suprised to see more changes in other stores in the near future... it is just what it has come down to.

If you are part of the Facebook page you have read about the post about a copy of a new Policy regarding coupons at Winn Dixie that I managed to get a glimpse of and share it.
Now with that one as stated in the group I have yet to see anything noted on the Winn Dixie page regarding that situation but the information was from an inside source and it seems it will be taking effect and formal notifications will be seen very soon.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NEW WINN DIXIE POLICY
SAYS THAT IT IS EFFECTIVE JUNE 1ST!

Management has the right to refuse any coupon.
Coupons must be redeemed before the expiration date.
All restrictions and limits on coupons will be strickly enforced
Limit 5 coupons on a like item in the same transaction.
Coupons can only be used on the items that are currently on hand.
No coupons for the Make a Deal Items
Basically no overages on coupons.
One like competitor coupon up to one item purchased per visit.

Basically you are limited to 5 coupons so if something is bogo you are better off getting (4) items and using (4) $1/1 coupons.
Seems like they are stopping coupons with rain checks as well.

AS STATED THIS POLICY HAS NOT BEEN SET IN STONE
BUT HEARING THAT THE CHANGES WILL BE NOTED AND WILL BE REFLECTING ON THE WEBSITE SHORTLY.

The other Game Changer and this came out of no where is Walgreen's they updated their policy as well today and

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NEW WALGREEN'S POLICY
WHICH SEEMS TO BE EFFECTIVE NOW!

Wont accept fraudulent coupons as determined by Walgreen's
Will not accept coupons that exceed the selling price of the item
Basically only one coupon aloud in a BOGO
They have the right to limit items to customers
No BOGO coupon on any BOGO items
Coupons can not be applied to ANY free item
Can not combine a 30% off Coupon with an employee discount

Basically the only thing that I am lost over here and maybe because I am not a frequent Walgreen's Shopper but if an item is BOGO and I have a $1/2 would that mean I would have to buy a third item since I can not use a coupon on the free item....
Guess I will have to look into that one.

I would say happy couponing but that is not the case today.

..................................................
 (NOT SURE WHAT TO PUT)
