Sometimes you do not even need a coupon to find a good deal.

I will be honest and say that I have not couponed in awhile. 

Yes I have not received or bought a paper and have not received or bought inserts BUT that does not mean I am not saving money. 

I still shop the sales and I try my best to use (though hard to come by) money off total coupons. I still do my marked down and close out shopping at Winn Dixie but even though I am not into the whole couponing thing (because life has got me all tied up right now) does not mean I am not saving a huge amount of money. 

I came across a paver business that is closing. 

I was able to get all these pavers which cost upwards of about 

$2.00 a piece for $300.00 out the door. 

Since my husband is handy we got a yard of sand and started laying them. We did the whole front porch and a single car garage and I still have 1/2 left which will make a nice walkway around my house and more than likely still have some left.  

This would of cost us a few THOUSAND and it did not and we added value to our home. Score for me! 

I have a child who is 11 months and loves those melt in your mouth yogurt drops by Gerber. He loves those things!

They sell them in the grocery chains for about $2.99 each. 

But I know that they ALSO carry the Tropical Fruit flavored ones at Big Lots for $1.00. They also carry other items like the puffs. 

So guess where I shop. 

The Big Lots that I go to always has marked down clearance items mostly due to discontinuing them or out of season and not really due to expiring (though it is always good to check though). 

Well the other day I was there and scored this great find. They are the Capri Sun Big Pouchs and they had them for 5 cents each! Yeah I grabbed a few. I know about the whole mold issues but I can easily cut open the pouch and look inside before serving them in a cup for the kids or myself. For 5 cents each it is worth the hassle. 

Sometimes the greatest deals that you find are the one's that you stumble upon without checking this website or that group. Sometimes the best deals are the ones that save you and your family money and also put money back in your pocket.
