Competitor Coupons and Price Matching

What most people do not realize and they are so surprised to hear is that your local grocery chain more than likely takes other grocery chain coupons. Usually the rule of thumb is if the store is within 2-3 miles and is considered a competitor meaning they sell the same items and such they will take each others coupons more than likely.

Locally here in Spring Hill, Florida every Publix consider Target, Winn Dixie, and Save a Lot as a competitor. Some stores also still at this time consider Sweetbay as a competitor. All the information on which coupons they take are found right on the door as you walk in the store.

It is still your job to read each coupon and know your store, it's limits and the policy. For instance your Publix takes Target Coupons but it is at the managers discretion to limit the amount of coupons to one Target Coupon per items no matter what the coupon states.

Also remember it is one store OR competitor paired with one manufacturers coupon per item.

Winn Dixie- Save A lot- Dollar General- and Target ONLY accept there coupons mostly all of the time paired with a manufactures.

Sweetbay stores locally take Winn Dixie, Save A Lot, Target, and Publix Coupons. If you have any questions about how they are used I would suggest speaking with customer service.

As far as price matching at Target all the information can be found here on the website.  Walmart also does price matching and that information also can be found here on the website

Since Christmas is coming I thought I would give a mention to
Toys R Us and yes they do take manufacturers coupons on items. They also price match and that information is found here on the website

Always remember it is our job as a consumer to know your stores policies because again this is not about being an extreme shopper it is about being a smarter shopper.

HAPPY COUPONING!
