I am about to share with you some scenarios that go with this weeks ad that is running now. This is a way for you to stock up on items ones that you can use and have a long shelf life so if you are a family of one or a family of 8 this sale is sure to bring you some huge savings. Here are two that you can do. I know the stores have limits of 10 but since their are several choices available you should be able to do this at your store buy buying different varieties of the items listed in the numbers that I give you. I would ask first since some stores are a PITA but it should not be a problem and TRUST me they are more then prepared. You can also order if they allow as well.
GREEN GIANT VEGGIES BOGO $1.29
40 cans for $10.80!!!
40 cans for $10.80!!!
Buy 40 cans of Green Giant Veggies 10 of each kind would be fine here (again please ask if your store will allow this if you buy 10 of each kind like 10 peas 10 French Green Beans 10 Corn and 10 Regular Green Beans). These are canned veggies and have a long shelf life so if your only one person and buying this many cans of veggies well you will not need for veggies for a LONG time and they will not go bad either.
MATH $1.29 x 20 = 25.80 (since they are bogo I am only counting the ones that are ringing up)
Use a $5 off $25 Save a Lot coupon found here ... they take these at all Spring Hill, Florida area Publixs but if not check your competitor list and try that as well.
MATH $25.80-$5.00= $20.80
Then use 10 of the $1/4 coupons these coupons are found at the front of the store in some area. At my store they are by the bathrooms and taking 10 coupons would not make a difference again this sale is done yearly and they should have 100's of these.
MATH $20.80-$10.00 =$10.80 or 27 cents a can.
If you used the $5 off $25 already at Save a Lot I would just use the $5 off $30 Winn Dixie and throw in some other items such as 2 of the free vitamins or two of the Nivea Body Wash to make up the difference. You will pay a bit more but still get the same savings.
PROGRESSO SOUPS BOGO $2.15
24 cans for $8.80!!!
24 cans for $8.80!!!
Buy 24 cans of Progresso Soup. (again please ask if your store will allow
this if you buy 6 of each kind like 6 Chicken Noodles, 6 Turkey Noodles, 6 Clam Chowder, and 6 Mushroom soups). These are canned soups and have a
long shelf life so if your only one person and buying this many cans of soup well you will not need for soup for a LONG time and they will
not go bad either.
MATH $2.15 x 12 = 25.80 (since they are bogo I am only counting the ones that are ringing up)
Use a $5 off $25 Save a Lot coupon found here ... they take these at all Spring Hill, Florida area Publixs but if not check your competitor list and try that as well.
MATH $25.80-$5.00= $20.80
Then use 6 of the $1/4 any Progresso Items. These are with the rest of the coupons located on a standee usually found at the front of the store. Again taking 6 coupons is not going to make a dent in the amount of coupons that they will have on display.
MATH $20.80- $6.00= $14.80
Then you will have to look at your binders or inserts for you will be able to find a lot of these coupons. Let me see we have a 50/2 Progresso Soup in the 1/6 and also 1/20 SS also a 25/1 Progresso Light Soup in the 1/2 and also the 1/20 SS. Depending on what you have is what you are going to need to do this. But either way it must cover all 24 cans. This should be simple concidering both the inserts they where in. But baiscally it comes out to a savings of 25 cents a can. (Also note if you use the Light Coupons to get the Light Soup)
MATH COUPONS 24 x.25= $6.00
MATH TOTALS $14.80 - $6.00= $8.80 or 36 cents a can! WHAT!
If you used the $5 off $25 already at Save a Lot I would just use the $5
off $30 Winn Dixie and throw in some more soup or other items such as 2 of the free
vitamins or two of the Nivea Body Wash or EAS Bars to make up the difference. You
will pay a bit more but still get the same savings.
NOTE : There are several ways to make this cheaper if you do the math and pair the deals with money makers or low oop verse high value coupons. But this is the simplist break down without knowing each and everyone's needs and stock availability in the stores. AS I stated these items are stocked to the tea in stores. I went the other day and they had the soups in a bin, in two places in the front, and also in the isle. Same with the veggies.
HAPPY COUPONING!
