Post Cereal Sale and Publix Coupon not a Match this Week! UPDATE:

 

 

If you saw all the sneak peaks put out for this week on the match- up web sites they all (including this one) included the money maker deal that the following coupon was a match for the Honey Bunches Of Oats that are on sale. BUT THIS IS NOT CORRECT! Some sites have or are in the process of removing this from the match ups.

The Honey Bunches of Oats cereal are $3.89 BOGO! YES

You can use the coupon from the 7/28 SS! YES

You would buy (2) boxes of honey bunches of oats

and you would use (1) coupon from the 7/28 SS

And you will pay $2.89 or $1.45 a box!'

BUT YOU CAN NOT STACK THE COUPON ABOVE!

 HERE IS WHY....

The coupon above clearly states $3/2 Any (2) Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted or Almond 15-18oz boxes

The Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted and Almonds are included in the sale but the boxes are 14.5 oz boxes

The boxes that match the Publix  coupon are $4.29 

THEY are NOT bogo!

The Publix coupon is meant for ONLY those two flavors!

Now you can twist this and say they forgot the comma 

or my store took the coupon but the reality is it is NOT a match!

It is up to you the couponer and sites like this to 

help people be aware of the improper and the proper usage of coupons.

This goes far beyond just Publix loosing out on the sale it was out as a money maker which means with your improper usage of the coupon it WILL IN FACT effect the store! They will not get reimbursed for money that they hand you back! 

PLEASE DO NOT USE IT!
