I am just a smart shopper who uses coupons.. but that is not all that I do.

Anybody can be a couponer Buy some papers clips some coupons and follow the sales it REALLY is that simple. 

Couponer's save at least 25% or more at check out. 

Everyone coupons in Spring Hill and I do not mean just the one's who buy 50 papers and jump on every free deal that there is. 

Just today while shopping I saw your basic mother grabbing an item or two with coupons. I also ran into a man the other day in Walmart who had a few coupons in one hand and a cane in the other. Everyone these days do what they can to save money. 

 

I use coupons but I do not think of myself as some extreme couponer though some of my trips have been extreme. 

I consider myself a smart shopper, a deal finder, and that is what I am good at doing and that is what helps me to save money and I get to just pass along the deals to others... which makes me happy.

Here is what I got today at Winn Dixie

(2) 12 packs of Soda Clearance $1.25 each

(1) 1/2 Pound Ham On Sale $2.28

(2) packages of Beef Marked Down from $7.00 to $2.60 each

Total Due $30.15 plus tax 

Used (1) $5 off $30 Winn Dixie brought total to $25.15

And (2) $1/1 Peelies on Mushrooms brought total to $23.15

(5) $1/1 Wet and Wild Product 5/4 RP brought total to $18.15

(1) $2 off Deli Publix Coupon brought total to $16.15

(6) $.75/1 Muellers Pot Sized 4/6 SS brought total to $11.65

(1) $.75/1 Mullers Pot Sized brought total to $10.90

I then scanned my WIC Card

Took off $4.39 for the Milk brought total to $6.51

Took off $1.00 toward my Vegetables all I had left for month

Paid $5.51 plus tax!

Saved over $38.00.

PLUS I earned more Fuel Perks! 

 

So bring your coupons... BUT also check out your local stores clearance isles, check for any mark downs on meats, and it is always best to keep a ton of coupons on the items that you get for free after coupon that way you can use that to bring your total up and your out of pocket cost down.
